Documents Required

  • Aadhaar card of the student (or parent if minor)
  • Bank account passbook / cancelled cheque
  • SSLC / Equivalent certificate or marklist
  • Admission letter / Fee receipt from the institution
  • Income certificate (if required by scheme)
  • Caste certificate (if applying under reserved categories)

Validity

Usually valid for the specified academic year; renewal required every year as per scheme rules.

Procedure

  1. Open the official e-Grants portal linked above.
  2. Register / Login using Aadhaar/mobile OTP.
  3. Fill the application form.
  4. Upload documents.
  5. Submit the application and note the reference number.
  6. Submit printed copies if required.
  7. Wait for verification & sanction.
