Documents Required
- Aadhaar card of the student (or parent if minor)
- Bank account passbook / cancelled cheque
- SSLC / Equivalent certificate or marklist
- Admission letter / Fee receipt from the institution
- Income certificate (if required by scheme)
- Caste certificate (if applying under reserved categories)
Validity
Usually valid for the specified academic year; renewal required every year as per scheme rules.
Procedure
- Open the official e-Grants portal linked above.
- Register / Login using Aadhaar/mobile OTP.
- Fill the application form.
- Upload documents.
- Submit the application and note the reference number.
- Submit printed copies if required.
- Wait for verification & sanction.
