Documents Required

• Aadhaar card of the farmer
• Bank passbook / cancelled cheque (account must be linked to Aadhaar)
• Land ownership documents / land tax receipt (e.g., 2018–2019 land tax paper)
• Ration card (where applicable)

If land ownership is not in single name: provide joint declaration, pattayam, or legal documents proving share. If Aadhaar is not linked to bank, you must link them or provide alternate verification as directed by the portal.

Validity

Registration is one-time but periodic verification may be done by authorities; ensure land and bank details are up-to-date.

Procedure

1. Visit the PM Kisan portal (link above).
2. Click "New Farmer Registration" and enter Aadhaar details.
3. Verify Aadhaar via OTP and complete farmer profile.
4. Enter land and bank details, upload required documents.
5. Submit and retain the reference/application number.
6. Verification is done by local officials; once approved, benefits are transferred to the bank account.
