How to get a Land Certificate

Purpose

This certificate is a legal document that serves as valid proof of your land ownership in Kerala. Without such a certificate, you may face several legal obstacles. Therefore, landowners in Kerala must understand the steps to secure their ownership certificates.

Declaration by the Applicant
ID Proof
Land tax receipt
Ration Card
Rent Agreement
Sale deed or certificate of purchase

For a specified minimum period

Procedure

The applicant has to submit the application online through the eDistrict portal.
After online submission, the application is forwarded to the Village Office for verification.
The Village Officer verifies the details and documents and once approved, the Land Certificate will be issued online and can be downloaded from the eDistrict portal.
